全新梅賽德斯-奔馳邁巴赫S級意在與英國老牌奢華汽車品牌相抗衡，同時滿足那些有更高需求的尊貴客戶。新車長5453毫米，軸距長3365毫米，比長軸距版S級車型的長和寬都增加了200毫米,。

奔馳邁巴赫S500新車的外觀設(shè)計與全新奔馳S級相同，車身尺寸方面，新車的車身長度將達到5500mm比長軸版的奔馳S級的5250mm還要長,，軸距為3165mm，另外，該車與長軸距版S級車相比其后門縮短了66mm,，與整個車身無縫融合,，同時三角窗從車門移到了C柱，使得后排座椅的位置隱藏到了車門輪廓后,，這就帶來了更好的私密性和專屬感,，而C柱中間還安裝了小尺寸的三角窗遮陽卷簾。

奔馳邁巴赫S500還會在內(nèi)飾部分與S級車型形成差異,。奔馳邁巴赫S500的后排座椅可以實現(xiàn)更大范圍的調(diào)整,，與軸距相關(guān)的配置，包括更大尺寸屏幕的后排娛樂設(shè)施,、寫字板,、儲物格、冰箱甚至是可升降的前后排隔板將會成為S級邁巴赫車型的配置,。出現(xiàn)在新款S級車型上的駕駛員輔助系統(tǒng),、空氣懸架/帶有電磁減震器的全主動式懸架以及各種豪華配置將毫無疑問會出現(xiàn)在奔馳邁巴赫S500車型上。

尾部方面,，梅賽德斯-邁巴赫S級則也基本與奔馳S級保持一致,，僅在尾箱蓋左上方新添了“MAYBACH”Logo。另外,，新車配備了雙邊雙出鍍鉻排氣管設(shè)計,，體現(xiàn)了旗艦車型應有的奢華典范。

內(nèi)飾方面,，梅賽德斯-邁巴赫S級依舊延續(xù)了S級的豪華大氣感,，同時菱形儀表皮革以及圓形的空調(diào)出風口等設(shè)計又很有復古的感覺。

新車依舊采用了和S級造型相同的兩幅式方向盤設(shè)計,，但是方向盤上的木質(zhì)材料更加高端,。另外，中控臺,、車門上也配備了同樣精細的木紋材料,，增添了整體的尊貴感。

座椅方面,，梅賽德斯-邁巴赫S級采用了Nappa真皮設(shè)計,，同時采用了菱形圖案，很有檔次,。當然,，后排更是梅賽德斯-邁巴赫S級值得炫耀的地方，新車提供了兩個獨立行政座椅設(shè)計,，其前端也配備了可調(diào)角度的支撐小腿支板,。此外,，后排乘客所能接觸到的地方均為真皮覆蓋。

后排座椅還配備了天鵝絨的頭枕,，這也是繼承了S級的設(shè)計,，十分舒服。后排乘客還擁有兩個獨立的顯示屏,，可以外接視頻源,。梅賽德斯-邁巴赫S級后排中央擁有4個杯架，前面兩個屬于溫控杯架,，可加熱或者冷卻飲料,；后面兩個為高腳杯架，可用于享受紅酒,、香檳等,。

其余配置方面，梅賽德斯-邁巴赫S級中控臺空調(diào)出風口之間配備了一塊萬國時鐘,，彰顯了該車的奢華身份,；新車還配備了全景滑動式天窗設(shè)計，更是可以選配可調(diào)光式全景天窗系統(tǒng),，該系統(tǒng)可讓天窗在透明和不透明之間的隨意切換,。
